The 4-day gorilla trips’ safari in Rwanda includes a Visit to Genocide Memorial Museum, then 2 visits to the Mountain Gorillas in the Volcanoes national park of Rwanda and a hike to Dian Fossey Tombs Tour (R.I.P), Golden Monkeys trekking is an optional activity. The tour starts and ends in Kigali.

Day 1 Arrival in Kigali City

On your arrival in Kigali, our tour guide will drive you to Kigali for a city tour. The city is a physical and enlightening heart of Rwanda with a high altitude. You will Visit the Genocide Memorial Museum where a thousand and thousand people were buried during the Rwanda genocide. Visit the handicraft village the Batwa pottery center. And then transfer to Volcanoes National Park home to mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla view lodge / La Palme Hotel / Le Bambou gorilla lodge / Muhabura Hotel / Sabyinyo Silverback lodge / Virunga Lodge.

Day 2 Gorilla Trekking Adventure

After a morning breakfast report to the headquarters of Volcanoes National Park for briefing on dos and donts while you’re with gorillas. You will then head to the beginning point of gorilla trekking. With your well prepared packed lunch, trekking boots and other equipment required for gorilla trekking set off to the jungle. The time taken to track the gorillas is unpredictable. However, the encounter after the vigorous trekking is stunning. Return to the lodge for Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at your hotel as at day 1.

Day 3: Second Gorilla Tracking

An early breakfast is provided in the morning then you report to the headquarters of volcanoes national Park for second gorilla trekking. You can choose to go to the same gorilla group or a different group, after trekking return to the hotel relax and in the evening visit handcraft village the Batwa pottery center, or visit the beautiful twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Dinner and overnight at your lodge as on day one and two.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking or Dian Fossey Tombs Tour.

After breakfast, settle on a decision out of the two given choices; if trekking golden monkeys, move to the bamboo forest to track the golden monkeys or visit Dian Fossey’s tomb. Return to the hotel for lunch, and transfer to Kigali for last minute shopping. Thereafter, drive to the Airport for your flight back home.
