Every early in the morning after breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters of Bwindi Forest National Park with your packed lunch and bottled water for a briefing about gorilla trekking. The trekking activity is quite tiresome but rewarding with the view of different primates in the forest and can take about 2-8 hours on steep and slippery forest trails before meeting mountain gorillas in this thick jungle. You will be allowed a maximum of one hour to observe, photograph, recording videos and even watch them and they do their daily activities at a close distance of about 5 meters. Then after this one hour, you will return to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking certificate before you meet your driver to return to the lodge and transfer back to Kigali where the safari ends.
