3 Days Chimpanzee Tour Uganda, Ngamba Island Tour

Day 1: Entebbe – Ngamba Island by boat

At your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet your tour guide for a briefing regarding your tour to Ngamba Island. After that, you’ll board the boat and transfer to Ngamba Island. If you arrive at the island earlier, you may choose to enjoy a community walk to the different neighboring communities. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as you wait for dinner and overnight at Ngamba Island Camp.

Day 2: Ngamba Island Forest Walk

After breakfast at the lodge, you will enjoy a thrilling forest walk. Ensure that you provided your medical vaccines. The forest walk is exceptionally impressive! Here you’ll have the chance to take wonderful pictures with the exuberant chimps. Keep in mind you’re on your adventure safari with animals which are man’s closest relatives. The most interesting thing on this safari is when the chimpanzees start pulling your clothes, hair, climb on you, or even shake your hands and hold you as you move in the forest. You will return to your lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure or you can choose to visit the shores of the lake to see different birds, butterflies, and other insects. Dinner and sleep at Ngamba Island camp.

Day 3: Transfer to the mainland

You will enjoy breakfast at the lodge and transfer to Entebbe mainland. The tour guide will pick you up from Entebbe and drive you to Entebbe International Airport to meet your departure flight.

The alternative tour activity in Entebbe is the visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC) and additionally botanical gardens.
