This 3 days wildlife safari Uganda offers an opportunity to explore Uganda’s most visited national park with over 95 species of mammal and over 500 species of birds.
Day 1: Arrival in Kampala and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your tour guide will meet at the hotel in Kampala or pick you from Entebbe International Airport and transfer to the western part of the country to Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda’s most-visited Park and known for its wildlife, including hippos, lions, leopards, elephants, and chimpanzees; the park also hosts over 95 species of mammal and over 500 bird species. Before you connect to the park, you will have an en-route stop at the equator where you will perform a simple experiment to experience a tropical balance, visit the art and craft shop, and thereafter continue to Mbarara for lunch and continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight will be at Mweya Safari Lodge / Kyambura Game Lodge/ Katara Lodge / Enganzi Lodge.
Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
On this day, you will wake up early in the morning for a cup of tea or coffee and transfer for an early morning game drive along Kasenyi tracks looking for animals like cape buffalos, mongoose, lions, warthogs, waterbucks, elephants, spotted hyenas, kobs and, if you are fortunate, the leopards are often spotted.
Return for a full breakfast, unwind and get ready for yet another amazing activity in the afternoon. After lunch, you will enjoy a memorable two hours boat ride on the Kazinga Channel where you will get an opportunity to see and photograph different water-loving animals and birds. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge as on day one.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala
After your breakfast, enjoy morning game drive before you transfer to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara town reaching Kampala for last-minute shopping and transfer to the Airport for your departure flight.
