4 Days Wildlife Safari Murchison Falls National Park
Gorilla Expeditions Limited has decided to take you to Uganda’s biggest park, Murchison Falls National Park for wildlife watching, birding tour and touring across the open savannah spotted woodland and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert delta, where you will have a chance to see a variety of animals like; elephants, giraffes, buffalos, lions, leopards, waterbuck and a countless population of birds, and for a three hour boat cruise along the Nile gives a golden opportunity to see the falls from the bottom angle. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can also be seen along the shores of the River.
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe – Kampala
On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet and greet the tour guide from Gorilla Expeditions Ltd and transfer to Kampala for a short city tour to visit nearby attractions like; Kasubi royal tombs, Namugongo Uganda Martyrs Shrine, national museum, and many others. You will have your dinner and overnight at Serena Kampala Hotel / JBK Hotel / Imperial Resort Hotel, Sheraton Hotel Kampala.
Day 2: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
Today you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then transfer to the northwest of Kampala through the historical Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town. Then you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking and picnic lunch. After lunch you will proceed to the magnificent site at the top of the fall where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected, compressing from up to 1km squeeze through a 7 meter gorge dropping 45 meters with a thunderous roar creating a wonderful rainbow, a plume of spray and the best thing that happened to the Nile…”the Murchison Falls”. Enjoy the sunset as you come back to the lodge. Enjoy the wonderful comfort at either Nile Safari Lodge / Red Chili Hideaway. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 3: Explore Murchison Falls National Park
Start your day with a cup of African tea/espresso and get ready for a morning game drive in the park, birding and touring across the open savannah spotted woodland and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert delta. Here you expect to see animals like; giraffes, buffalos, lions, leopards, waterbuck and a countless bird population, you will return to the lodge for a full breakfast and lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy a 3 – 4 hours boat cruise along the Nile where you will get an assured opportunity to see the falls from the bottom angle. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and also a variety of water-loving birds can be seen along the shores of the River. Dinner and overnight will be your lodge as on day two.
Day 4: Murchison Falls- Entebbe out
Wake up very early and get ready to take a photo of the African rising sun and enjoy breakfast at the lodge. Before you return to Kampala, you can have an option of half-day angling or a 2 hours boat cruise to the Nile delta. Thereafter drive back to Kampala through Masindi town where you will have lunch and then continue to Kampala then transfer to Entebbe International Airport at leisure for your departure flight.
