3 Days Wildlife Safari in Lake Mburo National Park
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Very early in the morning after breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, you will meet your tour guide who will drive you to Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda about 240 kilometers from Kampala. You will have an en-route stop at the equator where you will perform a simple experiment to experience a tropical balance, visit the art and craft shop, and thereafter continue to Mbarara for lunch and to Lake Mburo National Park. Dinner and overnight will be at Rwonyo Rest Camp / Mantana Tented Camp / Arcadia Cottages / Mihingo Lodge / Lake Mburo Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Game Drive in Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, you will enjoy a morning game drive in the park in search for different animals in the national park like; topis, buffalos, impalas, elands, zebras. Birding chances are also excellent in the national park, with about 313 species of bird species include the rare shoebill stork, Crested Francolin, White-winged Warbler and many others.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch before transferring for afternoon boat cruise where you will have a golden opportunity to view animals like; crocodiles, hippopotamus and water birds including; fish heron, pelicans, eagles, cormorant, black crake, and the rare shoebill stork. After the boat ride, return to the lodge for a relaxed evening as you wait for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Departure
After your breakfast, enjoy morning game drive before you transfer back to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara town reaching Kampala in the evening then drive to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
